The Norwegian delegation led by Minister Dag-Inge Ulstein has met with the Deputy President of Tigrai state Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael.

The Norwegian delegation led by Minister Dag-Inge Ulstein has met with the Deputy President of Tigrai state Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael.
The Norwegian delegation is expected to visit a school and some development projects in Quiha surrounding areas.
Minister Dag-Inge Ulstein is responsible for Norway’s International Development cooperation efforts in many countries including in the Middle East and North Africa.

Tigrai state is becoming a destination for potential inventors because it is the only peaceful region in Ethiopia, the people are hardworking and highly disciplined, the state is endowed with huge minerals deposits like gold and sapphire. The other very important point making Tigrai state attractive to international investors is the state is closer to sea ports in Eritrea, Sudan, and Djibouti.
Many investors from Turkey, China, Italy, Ireland, Israel, and Germany have invested or they are working to invest in Tigrai.
