The Norwegian Nobel Committee has awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2019 to Abiy Ahmed Ali

The world is laughing at the joke of this century, awarding Abiy Ahmed the Nobel Peace Prize, but again he is doing a great job for his masters.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2019 to Abiy Ahmed Ali the temporary prime minister of Ethiopia “for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation and particularly for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighboring Eritrea”.  

An Ethiopian con artist who was a low level military officer manages to deceive majority of the Ethiopian people for a few months because they were tired of EPRDF and he receives the Nobel Peace Prize for utterly destroying the country.

Since Abiy Ahmed Ali came to power Ethiopia become number one in the world for having the most internally displaced people (over three million), thousands of Ethiopian civilians were killed in inter-communal conflict, the military and security apparatus is diminished, the central federal government is limited to the capital Addis Ababa, and law and order are none existence. Ethiopia is teetering on the edge of total collapse. Did The Norwegian Nobel Committee see what is happening to the Qemant people in north western Ethiopia? Did the committee bother to ask what happen to over 350 Benishangul Gumuz civilians a few months ago or did they kept a blind eye to the heinous crimes taking place in Ethiopia under Abiy Ahmed?

The Nobel Peace Prize committee justified it’s award to the Ethiopian fraudster “for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighboring Eritrea”, really! Did anything changed between Eritrea and Ethiopia? NO! The border is still closed, the Eritrean people fleeing in the thousands from their country, the dictator is still ruling Eritrea with an iron grip, thousands of Eritreans are still in prison and the tension in the border is still as it was before Abiy Ahmed came to power. So, as far is Ethiopia and Eritrea is concerned there is neither peace nor international cooperation.

Knowing the grim situation in Ethiopia why did the west give Abiy Ahmed Ali? Well we will leave that question for you to answer, but remember this, Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev the Russian politician and president of the formerly Soviet Union was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, then Soviet Union disintegrated.

Many Ethiopians are dismayed at the Nobel Peace Prize committee and many internationally known people are furious on the decision of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. The British journalist Piers Morgan expressed the feeling of most of us by saying “How DARE they actually give it to someone who forged peace?!!!!”
